Sandy Wren
Managing Member and Senior Environmental Assessment Practitioner
Sandy has a BA Honours Degree in Development Studies from the University of Port Elizabeth, majoring in Political Science, Sociology and Industrial and Organisational Psychology. Sandy obtained a BA Honours Degree in Development Studies in 2003 for which she obtained distinctions in courses in Environmental Management.
A former Regional Director of Idasa (Institute for Democracy in SA) she has extensive experience in the management and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments as well as specialist public participation. The following lists some of the projects in which Sandy has played a key role: EIA’s for the Coega Industrial Development Zone and Port of Ngqura, Expansion of the Addo Elephant National Park, Boardwalk Casino and Resort Development, Coega Aluminium Smelter, Sustainable Coastal Development Policy for SA, Proposed N2 Wild Coast Toll Road Project, Biodiversity Conservation Assessment and Action Plan for the Wild Coast, Regional General and Hazardous Waste Processing Facility for the Eastern Cape, various residential developments, several agricultural developments and municipal bulk infrastructure projects (roads, stormwater, effluent management housing).

Geena Pringle

Geena obtained a Masters in Geography (MSc Geography) from Nelson Mandela University, majoring in Environmental Geography. In fulfilment of the requirements for this degree, she completed a dissertation entitled “Costs and consequences at the population-environment-development interface in St Francis Bay: Exploring the linkages of a complex system”. Geena has been with Public Process Consultants since August 2022.

Wandile Junundu
Public Participation and Community Consultation
Wandile has gained extensive experience in community based consultation and liaison with various organisations and structures throughout the entire Eastern Cape Province. Wandile is an integral part of the project team and plays an important role in communication with grass roots organisations and communities. Wandile has worked on projects such as the Coega IDZ and Harbour, Pechiney Aluminium Smelter, Expansion of Greater Addo Elephant National Park, Coega Integrated LNG to Power Project and the N2 Wild Coast Toll Road Project.
